Charity

As a 501 (c) (3) charitable corporation, the men and women of the organization coordinate their efforts and assistance programs with the respective individuals in the community under whose auspices such activities may fall, to accomplish the following for people with developmental or intellectual disabilities:

  • Provide resources and assistance to private and public schools educating individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities and serving their social needs.
  • Provide resources and assistance to establish residences for persons with developmental or intellectual disabilities, and to provide resources for the repairs, maintenance and expenses of such residences.
  • Provide human and/or financial resources to enhance the awareness and quality of life for people with developmental or intellectual disabilities by participating in and supporting programs and activities such as Special Olympics, Best Buddies, sports, recreation, field day programs/summer camps, field trips, boat rides, picnics, parties, dinners, dances, job support, arts and theatre related activities, etc.
